Venezuela
Venezuela produces smooth, aged rums under its own ‘Ron de Venezuela’ denomination of origin, which sets a minimum ageing requirement. Diplomático and Santa Teresa are the best-known producers. The style tends towards rounder, richer rums, and some contain added sweetening.
