Product Description
Barti Spiced Rum is a spiced rum-based spirit drink from the United Kingdom, bottled at 35% ABV. At 35% ABV it is below the 37.5% minimum for rum, so it is sold as a spirit drink.
It is made by The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company from a blend of Caribbean rums spiced with vanilla, cloves and orange, plus Pembrokeshire laver seaweed, also known as Welshman’s caviar. At 35% ABV it cannot legally be called a spiced rum. The name comes from the Pembrokeshire pirate Barti Ddu, or Black Bart.
