Product Description
Rhum J.M is made at the Fonds Préville distillery in Macouba, on the north coast of Martinique, from fresh sugar cane juice, which makes this a rhum agricole. It carries the Rhum des Antilles Françaises appellation.
For Fumée Volcanique, the details we’ve been given are that it’s distilled in columns, then aged for one to two years in ex-bourbon oak barrels with an extreme barrel char. The profile is smoky and powerful. It’s bottled at 49% ABV, so it has real strength, and we’d use it for sipping or as the base of a bold cocktail.
