Riverbourne – Australia Pot Still 3 Year Old (That Boutique-y Rum Comp Rum is a dark rum from Australia, bottled at 49.6% ABV, with an age statement of 3 years.
This pot still rum comes from Australia’s Riverbourne distillery and reflects distiller Martin Pye’s admiration for Jamaican rum production, using an array of yeast strains and dunder during fermentation. It spent three years maturing in re-charred red wine casks from California’s Napa Valley, re-coopered with virgin American oak heads. Batch 1 is a release of 106 bottles from That Boutique-y Rum Company.
