Product Description
Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 12 Years Old is made at the Ronera Santiago de Cuba distillery in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, and produced by Corporación Cuba Ron. It’s a blend aged for a minimum of 12 years in reused white oak casks.
It’s presented as a fusion of tradition and modernity, an exclusive expression of Cuban rum made by the Maestros del Ron Cubano, Cuba’s master rum makers. Dry and elegant but smooth, it sits firmly in the sipping category for us, neat or over ice.
Tasting notes
A deep, intense nose of dark chocolate and dried fruit. The palate is drier, with dried fruit and burnt sugar, and a robust aged character that has evolved well in oak. The finish is dry, balanced with subtle heat.
