Product Description
Joy Spence crafted Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve to commemorate Appleton’s 250th Anniversary. It’s a blend of pot and column still rums, aged for a minimum of eight years in the tropical climate of Jamaica at Appleton Estate in the Nassau Valley.
It’s bottled at 43% ABV and made with Jamaican limestone-filtered water and no added flavours.
Tasting notes
A brilliant honeyed bronze colour with a subtle green ring of ageing. The aroma is spicy fruit and oak, followed by hints of honey, vanilla, holiday spice and a signature orange peel note. The finish is exceptionally smooth, balanced with a hint of molasses and warm oak.
